Road Trip with Kirchhausen Clan (July 2020)
A phone call from Amelia on Saturday afternoon inviting us on a spur-of-the-moment road trip with them to Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, and Arches National Park! We said yes, and after packing our things before church the next day, and attending our ward, we headed over to Kirchhausens to supposedly say "goodbye" to the kids. We told them there was a surprise for them in our trunk...we opened it and they saw our bags and quickly put two and two together, then yelled, "You're coming with us!!!!" We had the most wonderful time, traveling nearly 2000 miles together in five days.
