Mom's Moment - April 11, 2010
Last weekend was General Conference and each talk was excellent!
This weekend was our Stake Conference and there was MORE wonderful counsel. Here are some of my notes without a ton of the details.
Elder Sidarute (sp?), an area authority gave this counsel regarding making our homes a sanctuary from the world:
Be a good listener.
Give our TIME to our spouses and children. Time = love (remind me to post the poem "I Wish My Daddy Was A Dog")
Serve each other.
Affirm (look for) the good deeds of our family members.
Practice the principle of the Atonement. Forgive liberally; don't take offense
Do I want to be RIGHT, or do I want a good marriage?
